These four simple verbs have been my mantra, really for all of my life; I just didn't realize it until I formally became a teacher in 2003. I am a wife, mother, reader, writer, teacher, learner, yogini, Pinterest enthusiast, consummate searcher of amazing recipe blogs, and all-around wanderer. Here, I document some of those wanderings.
About Me
Before my beautiful "Bubs," William, joined our family ten months ago, I was running on all cylinders. I was everywhere. I was working as a teaching consultant, specializing in adolescent literacy. My day job veered onto a new track into the professional development department of my school district after 8 years in the High School English classroom. I read everyday, multiple times throughout the day, and wrote almost as frequently. I talked about what I read and wrote...a lot. But babies have a way of derailing even the most determined trains.
Here, in this small corner, I have established a train yard of sorts where the steam locomotives and high-speed passenger trains can intersect, mingle, and continue blazing new paths as well as re-tracing the well-worn ones.
I invite you to hop on board, join the conversation, or just be a witness.
Sincerely,
Audrey
